NEWCAP offers several housing programs.
Homeless Prevention Program which provides rental assistance to individuals or families that are homeless. Eligible applicants will have a portion of their rent paid through NEWCAP based on income. Income must be at or below 30% of County Median Income. Contact Makenna @ 800-242-7334.
Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program is a housing first program providing rental assistance to individuals/families experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Priority is given to the disabled, those who have a disabled family member, low-income who are disabled or have a disabled family member. NEWCAP works with you to become self-sufficient. Housing Choice Voucher Program is a federally funded program that provides rental subsidies to low-income families, senior citizens, handicapped, and disabled individuals.
