Description:
Our Mission - Kinship of Richland County, Inc., was organized for the purpose of operating a program that will match adult volunteers with children who need a positive, supportive role model. Kinship believes that the lives of children can be improved through on-going relationships with caring adult mentors.
One of the greatest values of the Kinship program lies in the personal relationship between the adult and child, and the knowledge on the part of the child that someone is interested in them as an individual. This relationship helps the child to better meet challenges in their home, school and community.
Mentoring Makes a Difference
Meet at least one hour once a week for one year.
Kinship of Wisconsin's Vision: Every child in Wisconsin is respected, supported in his or her development and valued as a community member.
