Renewed Strength (Formerly Women’s Way)
Renewed Strength offers comprehensive care coordination. We utilize a trauma-informed approach and wraparound philosophy serving women with substance use disorders.
Priority status will be given to pregnant persons who are using injection drugs.
Care Coordinators are credentialed substance use disorder counselors who help women towards recovery and greater self-sufficiency.
We help women and their families identify supports that become the tapestry for ongoing success in recovery. Through caring collaboration with the client as the lead, we provide trauma-informed care coordination for success in recovery. To meet client-identified goals, we assist in navigating and accessing resources such as:
Substance use disorder services
Funding for treatment
Peer and family supports
Community supports
Gender-specific groups focusing on trauma, parenting and recovery
Trauma Recovery
We recognize the significant impact of trauma on multiple areas of a woman’s life and embrace a trauma-informed philosophy.
We offer individual appointments to promote positive:
Self-care
Independence
Relationships
Boundaries
Assertiveness
Healing
Relapse prevention
Renewed Strength offers services to individuals who identify as female. Trauma recovery groups will be available to participants. One of them being based on the curriculum of Stephanie Covington, “Beyond Trauma: A Healing Journey”.
Eligibility:
Identify as female
18+ years of age with substance use disorder
Resident of Barron, Chippewa, Columbia, Dunn, Eau Claire, Juneau, Sauk or Treampealeau County
