The Long Term Care Ombudsman
Program protects the human and civil rights of people 60 years and older and responds to complaints and problems of residents or recipients of long-term care such as nursing homes, community based residential facilities, assisted living residential apartment complexes, and services of Family Care/IRIS Programs. The Ombudsman operates through the Wisconsin Board of Aging and Long Term Care. There is no charge for services.
