Manage 12 public housing units that allow 2 or 3 bedroom families and one complex called Golden Acres 1 that accounts for 24 single bedroom families.
Fees: low income housing is 30% of income
Eligibility: low income individuals. Income limits apply
Subsidized housing for elderly. Rent is 30% of income. The rent includes all utilities except phone and cable. The Altoona recreation dept furnishes the residents with a weekly shopping bus for a nominal fee.
