Catholic Charities is the largest social service provider in the metro-area of St. Paul and Minneapolis. We serve those most in need and are a leader in solving poverty, creating opportunity, and advocating for justice in the community. Last year, we served over 35,000 people in need in our community.
Now is an especially exciting time for our programs in St. Paul because we are expanding our facilities in order to improve service for our clients. One of our primary service areas is serving people experiencing homelessness. The Dorothy Day Center provided simple, yet essential services to people experiencing homelessness. Last year we opened a brand new building to provide better housing and shelter. Our clients at the St. Paul campus now have onsite access to everything from emergency shelter to temporary transitional housing to long-term apartments for people needing ongoing case management.
