Description:
Provides comprehensive hospice services that encompass physical, psychosocial and spiritual care for persons with terminal illness and for their families. Focus is on comfort, not cure; emphasis is on improving the quality of remaining life. Hospice care is provided wherever patient lives, including private home, hospital, community residential facility and nursing home. Services include nursing care, social work, medical care and therapy in collaboration with the person's private physician. Additional services for hospice patients include:
