An ACO (Accountable Care Organization) works to coordinate your care between health care providers, clinics, and hospitals. By shared communication they can partner with you in making health care decisions. You will spend less timing filling out medical history paperwork as they will share that information. You will have fewer medical tests as results will be shared.
Ask your provider is they are part of an ACO.
