Description:
Madison Chapter
We are not a "service provider" - simply a support group where people with hearing loss gather for self help, education about hearing loss, assistive listening technology, hearing aid info. We learn from one another. We discuss coping strategies and communication skills to enable us to live life the the fullest. We keep up with new technology, other SHHH chapters around the country - hold conventions, etc.
Anyone is welcome - parents of hard of hearing children, children, adults and elderly people - professionals, etc. There is no cost, however we do ask for a membership fee of $7.00 per year plus $25.00 for national membership to anyone who wishes to continue with our group.
