Maplewood, is owned and operated by Lakeview Health Center and La Crosse County. Maplewood is serving those are actively working on their recovery. Maplewood residents continue to work on self-directed goals. Maplewood also provides an opportunity for a more independent and self-directed practice with a focus on development of symptom management skills. Residents at Maplewood are generally independent in the area of ambulation and their care needs. Residents may have oxygen and need assistance with insulin as we have general oversight from nursing staff. Maplewood provides 24 hour awake staff. Residents at Maplewood will have their own bathrooms and bedrooms. Residents living at Maplewood have an opportunity for other services such as OT/PT therapy. Smoking is allowed in designated spaces.
