Description:
The Regional Parkinson's Center at Aurora Sinai Medical Center is a Parkinson's disease resource for patients and family members. A National Parkinson's Foundation Care Center, it is one of the nation's most comprehensive Parkinson's disease programs, featuring diagnosis, education, treatment and rehabilitation.
Diagnosis of the disease requires the observation of a physician following a thorough physical examination. In the disease's early stages, the physician may need to observe the patient over a period of time to make an accurate diagnosis.
The Center provides each individual an accurate diagnosis, advanced treatment options, access to clinical drug investigations, and helps promote an optimal quality of life for each patient.
