Description:
HAVEN (Household Abuse Victims Emergency Network) provides services to those who have experienced domestic abuse, sexual assault, child abuse, and elder abuse through a 24-hour phone line, crisis intervention, secure shelter, individualized advocacy, and support groups. Advocacy is available to all clients, whether they are in a shelter or not, and includes safety planning, supportive counseling and education, help with obtaining services/resources from other community agencies, information and assistance with the legal process including restraining orders, divorce and child custody, and court accompaniment. All HAVEN services are free and confidential.
HAVEN is located in Lincoln County, however there is no geographic limitations for clients, and there is coordination with other similar agencies within the state.
