Description:
The Homeless Shelter of Iowa County is help address singles or families who are experiencing homelessness and need transitional housing for 30-60 days. This shelter will be provided at no cost, however, the people are expected to work with community agencies/organizations to improve their situation and also find permanent housing. Anyone who is lacking in a fixed adequate night-time residence may be eligible. This is a safe home situation to stay for 30-60 days. If available, the apartment may be available to you. You will also be counseled regarding issues that are important to you, i.e. stable housing, health care, food, transportation, help at school if students are a part of the family.
